More about Lighthouse Cottage

Looking for a peaceful family holiday with your four-legged friends? Then Lighthouse Cottage is just the place for you! Located in the grounds of Church Farm and offering wonderful views across open countryside, this beautifully presented Norfolk hideaway is a lovely spot for a romantic break or family holiday.

Situated on the outskirts of the village, Lighthouse Cottage is a pretty and traditionally built cottage in a small complex of three. Finished to an extremely high standard and very well-equipped, you will find everything you need to help you enjoy a relaxing break. All on one level, the cottage has two bedrooms (double and twin) and two bathrooms. A light and airy vaulted living area combining kitchen, sitting and dining areas is attractively and comfortably furnished and makes for a very sociable place to chat, relax and spend some time together. French doors open to an enclosed and paved courtyard garden. On summer days you can leave the doors open, knowing dogs and children are safe to come and go.

Lighthouse Cottage is one of three cottages at Church Farm and perfect for a small family or two couples who are looking for a lovely, tranquil rural setting that's within easy reach of the coast and a great base from which to explore this lovely area of Norfolk. If you are part of a larger group and looking for somewhere to holiday with another family or two, Lighthouse Cottage could, subject to availability, be booked alongside Church Fields and/or Oak Tree Cottage, which sleep six and four respectively.

East Ruston is the perfect spot for visiting the local beaches. The nearest are at Happisburgh, Waxham and Sea Palling, all of which are dog friendly. A visit to nearby Horsey to see the seals is definitely something you should make time for. It's a memorable sight for young and old - dogs must be kept on leads. The Broads National Park is virtually on the doorstep. Hire a boat, take a picnic and take your time exploring the picturesque waterways and idle away the day.
